We were hoping to take the ferry from Venice to Rovinj on this date, but it doesn't appear that there are any crossings at this time although I could find a crossing to Porec. Am I too early to book or are there no Saturday ferries this early in the year? If we have to go to Porec, is there car service to Rovinj as we have hotel reservations. We would prefer to avoid the land route from Venice to Rovinj, but that might be necessary. Any advice?

I know the Venezia Lines are not daily, not sure if there are others. If those results hold, you can take a bus from Porec--looks to be less than an hour.
You wont need a car in Rovinj?

After checking croatiaferries.com it looks like the ferry only runs on Mondays in May.
