After staying a few days in Hvar, I will be moving on to Vis for a few days. I will be departing Hvar on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. I do not have a car. I understand there is a ferry or cat that travels from Hvar to Vis on a Tuesday but I cannot seem to find and book this on line for some reason. Perhaps it does not depart from Hvar town? I dont want to have to go back to Split to move on to Vis, if possible. Can someone help me with this and confirm that I can advance purchase this ticket in advance on line? Your help is very much appreciated!

I don’t know why you can’t find this catamaran service. You will need to book tickets in advance online. It does depart from Hvar town. The website is Jadrolinija.hr.
Personally, at that time of year, I would prefer to stay in Stari Grad or Jelsa m as I value my sleep and I am not into loud partying!

It appears that I cannot book out for July this early. We do intend to take day trip to Stari Grad.
