Greetings, we are planning to drive from Plitvice National Park to Split then boat to Korcula for two nights. My question is we have a day which we can stay the night somewhere between Plitvice and Split or 3 nights in Korcula. Some of the thoughts I’d had were overnight in Zadar or Sibenik, or 1 overnight on a different island, then of course, perhaps a third night in Korcula. We will be in the last week of our 4 weeks of travel so want it to be an easy pace-sort of a winding down if you will. We finish with three nights in Dubrovnik before flying out for home. Thoughts?

I would lean toward pressing on to Korcula so you have two full days, even though it is a longer drive than I like to do in one day.
You could also drive to Split and ride on the ferry to Vela Luka, which is a short drive from Korcula town. Island hopping won't work well because there are a limited number of car ferry routes--it's mostly car-free catamarans along the coast.
If you want to break up the drive, I'd agree at Primosten and Sibenik area.

Think about going to Korcula, as then you can relax better when you arrive there....

Thank you both for your feedback, Korcula it is. I see I forgot to mention that we will drop the car in Split and be able to utilize the fast passenger cats. So I think doable in a day!
