Early morning transfer from Airbnb in Diocletian's Palace (Near Green Market) to the Split airport.

We have a 6:45 AM flight out of Split to AMS, then to ATL. I figure we should be at the airport at least 2 hours prior to the flight, so I am thinking we should be picked up by 4:15 AM. Can anyone recommend a reliable transfer service and/or information? Are there taxis lined up that early in the morning to catch these early flights? Next, going from the Dubrovnik airport to Old Town what can I expect to paya taxi? Our Airbnb offered a transfer service for 45 euros for my wife and myself. Trying to gage the price between a taxi and private transfer. Thanks, Hank

I would reserve an Uber for your ride to the airport in Split and yes there are taxis lined up. I reserved and Uber for the same route DBV to Dubrovnik and it was E35, guy was standing there with a cardboard sign of my last name. It was a much longer ride that I expected, just FYI it looks close on a map. J

We just did this two weeks ago, same flight to AMS. Our arranged ride didn’t show up, 40 euros. We were able to get a taxi for 25 euros, but bolt was listed at 22. Bolt is the cheapest but we had arranged ride before we even arrived in Croatia. There were taxis 4:20-4:40 right outside Diocletian tower two by the park. Airport doesn’t open until 5 am. Glad we were there at 5 am as the airport computers were being held ransom and it was a long manual slog through the line. We couldn’t get boarding passes for second flight, no one on plane could. Only a few seemed to have luggage checked to final destination, again manually entered based on our flight print out from delta, we were very lucky. Person on our connecting flight to US we met trying to get boarding passes basically gave up her luggage as there was no time to get out, get luggage, recheck luggage and get through security.
