Hi Everyone, we are in the very beginning stages of planning a 7-14 day trip to Croatia & Venice. We are 2 females and will be driving the coast and probably taking a ferry to Venice.
Any suggestions on the "must sees" , "don't go" , which highways to take, best time to travel.

We were in Dubrovnik a few months ago. Very glad we went as it was beautiful. Very glad we only scheduled two nights as that's about as long as our interest lasted. Instead of going to Venice or heading north up the coast we headed south to Montenegro and fell in love with the country.
Our hotel in Dubrovnik was Inn Hotel Villa Sigurata located inside the walls in the old town. Lovely place, lovely owner. Would stay there again if we were to return.
