Dubrovnik to Thessoloniki, Greece

I plan to rent a car and tour Croatia this year, finishing in Dubrovnik. I then need to get to Thessoloniki, Greece, and wondered if anyone has any advice the best way to travel. Would it be best to drive back to Zagreb? Thanks Jo
