We are spending 12 days travelling from Split to Dubrovnik and travelling through Hvar and Korcula in early October. Then we want to spend a further 12 days in the Puglia region of Italy. I presumed there might be flights from Dubrovnik to Bari but looking briefly last night I am only finding routes from Dubrovnik through main cities in Italy. I don't really want to fly Dubrovnik to Rome or Venice then Bari but will if I need to. I also have investigated the Durres to Bari or Vlora to Brindisi ferry. Am I missing something? Is there a different way to travel between Dubrovnik and the east coast of Italy?
There is the Dubrovnik to Bari ferry: https://www.jadrolinija.hr/en/sailing-schedule/international-lines-2022
Thanks, valadelphia. I see that is Wednesdays only. I guess I was hoping for some different air travel option! I may need to rearrange some dates.
Good luck--if you have checked Google and Skyscanner, don't know of any other flights.
I'm going to check through everything again and decide. Things come up in vacation planning, right? I just found out the weekend we fly from Canada into Rome is the Ryder cup and hotels are scarce and expensive! We wanted a few days landing base there before flying to Split. May also have to adjust my thoughts/plans there! Thanks!
yes, best laid plans and all that--hopefully, rearranging things will help the plan. Two wonderful areas!
