My husband and I are traveling to Dubrovnik in mid-September and will arrive one day early for an extended tour. The tour does not include Medjugorje, but it does include Mostar.
We would like to take a day trip to Medjugorje to attend the English mass and climb Apparition Hill, but leave by 2pm to visit other interesting places on the way back. We're wondering if Kravice Falls, Pocitelj and Ston are reasonable stops, or what other places experienced travelers might suggest visiting instead.
Guides I've contacted have agreed to the above, but have not made any comments or suggestions despite my requesting feedback. I had planned to hire a recommended driver from the Guidebook, but now I've seen a negative review regarding a last-minute cancellation. We only have one day and I don't want to be afraid of this happening to us, so I intend to look into other alternatives.
Our extended tour begins in Dubrovnik, followed by Montenegro, Mostar, and then Sarajevo before heading to Zagreb and Slovenia.
