Dubrovnik to Kotor

We will be in Dubrovnik in September 2022 and would like recommendations for a guide for a day trip to Kotor Bay in Montenegro.

Can't give you any info about a guide, but would like to let you know about something that may be of interest in Kotor. There is a road (P1) that goes from Kotar to the towns of Njegusi and Cetinje . The views of the town and bay are super spectacular. But, it goes up the side of a mountain and has 25 or so 180 degree switchback turns and at least 75 other sharp turns. There's a rock wall on one side and nothing on the other. If anyone in your party is prone to motion sickness or has a problem with heights, you might want to avoid this drive. But if all of you are ok with heights, looking back at the city and bay is not to be missed. You can go to bing.com, use the map feature, and see aerial views of the road. Googlemaps.com. will also allow you can check it out. On 12 Mar. 2017 there was a thread on this forum titled "Greece Montenegro Croatia". One person included a link to a good map that shows the road. And another person had a link to a video made along parts of the road.

When we traveled from Dubrovnik to Kotor, we took the bus. It was not expensive. Kotor is a fun day trip from Dubrovnik.

I just made arrangements with Petar Vlasic for a day trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik after our RST in early October.
Dubrovnik Riviera Tours was listed in the RS Croatia tour book and in this forum.
