I will be in Dubrovnik soon for about 8 hours as our cruise boat will be docking there. We want to walk on top of the Old Town walls. Does anyone know the cost to do that and what a Dubrovnik Pass costs? Not sure we will have time to utilize anything else on the Pass. Thought and suggestions?

Pass is also 40 euros, so I would buy the pass--it may cover some of your transport and you'll have time for something else in 8 hours.

Agree with the pass if you want to do the walls. I’m a bit of a contrarian about the walls. I was there for a couple of days on a tour that included the pass, so did just about everything it included. I didn’t love the walls. Nothing dangerous, but there are steep steps frequently and I don’t like heights. It was very hot. I came back down after half way around. If I had had to pay 40 euros I would not have thought it good value. Dubrovnik has lots of beautiful views without walking the walls. The little museums included in the pass are nice but nothing unmissable. The maritime museum was my favorite. What’s best about Dubrovnik is just walking around and soaking in the atmosphere, with a shade break for an iced coffee.

Just an FYI - halfway on the Walls you can leave through the Maritine Muaeum. Walking halfway is good enough, this coming from someone who has walked those walls 1/2 dozen times.
