Has anyone been to the city walls in Dubrovnik around closing time lately? I'm wondering if there is a strict "must exit by closing hours" policy or if you are able to wander some more and exit on your after the walls close. I'll be there in September when the website says the walls close at 6pm, but since they are not guided I am wondering if they make sure everyone exits by 6pm. Also, I can't find a "last admission at" timeframe anywhere. Let me know. Thanks!

I can’t tell you 100% but they do have gates at the 2 entrances and they do lock them. There is also an EXIT through the Maritime Museum but you would have to check when that closes.
PS, we will be there early October, sorry.

I cannot directly answer your question, but we were there last week and walked the walls in late morning. The closing time was 7:30 pm. At 35 Euros pp they are making a small fortune, but it was well worth it! You are pretty much walking along a movie set the entire time. We did pass on taking the cable car at 32 Euros pp, and given there is no line for it tells one that it is way overpriced.
