Due to circumstances out of my control, here I am trying to find accommodation for August . I would appreciate any suggestions. My budget was $200-250 but I might have to go to $300 a night. I am looking for a safe and central place. Nothing fancy. Just central and easy to get around to at night and during the days. Thanks so much.
August will be tougher to find accommodations but not impossible. and they also will be more expensive at that time. But that is where those filters on the booking sites come in handy. I would go to one of those familiar booking sites (booking.com or airbnb for example). Key in your requirements
(price you are looking for, area, what amenities, etc.). Then read several current reviews or at least no more than a year or two back.
The reviews will tell you a lot about location, ease of getting to and from places, the hosts or management,etc. Good luck.
I would also check booking.com. In the filtera check off Old Town. Our go to place is BedandBreakfadt Andio but don’t know your dates to check. Dubrovnik Gardens is also very nice.
In Split we only stay at Hotel Peristil. Good luck.
