Driver needed from Dubrovnik to and from Mostar for eleven people.

Does RSE Croatia guidebook suggest a local driver who'll pick up a family of eleven and drop them off in Mostar for the day, this is a day trip? There are four children between the ages of one and five years old.
Four people in this party will fly out of Venice and would like to take a ferry from Pula, however, they need to be transported from Plitvice Lakes National Park to Pula later in the day but not the same day as when they are in Dubrovnik. Is there a local company who can do this?

To save money, `would you consider using the bus from the lakes to Pula? I guess you know the ferry leaves very early morning to Venice.

Thank you for the URL addresses that I will check out. This is what I was looking for.
My nephew, his wife and two daughters ages two and four may not like the idea of taking a bus to Pula after taking one from Split that morning to Plitvice where he'll spend a half day before moving on to Pula. However, is there a direct bus from Plitvice to Pula?

I would really, really discourage an in-transit visit to Plitvice. It's ill-advised for anyone because the park gets totally slammed by daytrippers. For a family with young children, I believe it would be really stressful. The walkways (many of which are over water, albeit extremely shallow water) can be packed with visitors walking in both directions. There's usually not a place to step aside if you need to slow down. A toddler would be an impediment to the other people on the walkway, so I'd guess he or she would have to be carried the entire time. I don't have children, so I don't know whether the 4-year-old would have difficulties as well.

It occurred to me as I was tromping along in lockstep with the others that if one person stumbled, most likely several would end up in the lake. It didn't think about it at the time, but I doubt if my cell phone would have survived going for a swim, so that's something else to think about.

I have been to Plitvice three times. The first two visits were back before the park was disovered by foreign visitors. Believe me when I say that it is vastly more impressive if seen outside the mid-day crush. With such young children, I would skip the park if I couldn't arrange to stay nearby the night before and get inside at opening time. That's my advice to everyone.

Effective this year, the park doesn't guarantee admission to those who haven't pre-purchased admission tickets. That's an indication of how overcrowded Plitvice is.

I agree with Acraven, arriving around lunch time with young children would be ill advised, actually anytime would be so. There is no direct bus from the lakes to Pula, a change would be required.

I think they need to spend the night at Plitvice and take turns seeing the park without the children. I think it's unsafe for young children. We traveled a good bit when our daughter was the ages of both of these children, but after actually being at Plitvice on an uncrowded afternoon in Sept, I would definitely not take small children on the boardwalks there.

Your comments are much appreicated. I will share your posts with my nephew who may decide to skip the park completely, thank you.
