Does anyone know if it's logistically possible to leave Dubrovnik in the morning with a car, drive to Mostar for the day, and spend the night on Korcula? Would we take the car onto the island, or is it possible to return the car in Orebic and hop on the ferry from there? My original plan of Split-Korcula (2 nights)-Dubrovnik (2 nights)-grab car, visit Mostar, then drive to Plitvic to spend the night and hit the lakes early in the morning still might be the best option, even though we would be doing a loop. But I thought I would explore starting in Dubrovnik to see if that might work. Thanks!

Dubrovnik to Mostar to Korcula would be over 7 hours driving, so it’s not feasible as a day trip. You may have issues taking a hire car to Mostar and you would need to ensure that you were permitted to take it onto a ferry.
Orebic is tiny and I don’t think there are any car hire places.
If you are heading to Split after Korcula, you would have a long trip via Orebic, as there are no direct car ferries.
