I arrive in Split on the 23rd and have a room booked from the 30th of September in Dubrovnik. However this is all I have planned so far.
Do you think its okay to just keep a map of hostels and ferry ports, then make a spontaneous island hopping journey from Split to Dubrovnik by ferry (from Split->Hvar->Korcula->Dubrovnik)?
My hope is that its a low season now and so there will be lots of free ferry seats and beds.
I have found this ferry service https://www.krilo.hr/en/sailing-schedule/ that goes from split to dubrovnik(seems like only option). However I am hesitant to book ahead of time in case I really like a town along the way.
