Day trip to Zlatni Rat

Hello,
I am going to Croatia in August. I would like to visit the Zlatni rat beach on Brac. How would you guys recommend getting there? I'll be staying in Dubrovnik, Korcula, Hvar and Split. Will there be day trips from Split? Is the beach close to the ferry stop in Bol?
Thanks!

Take a ferry from Split to Brač. The ferry landing in Brač is called Supetar. From Supetar, either take a bus, or rent a car or scooter to get to Bol, which is on the opposite side of the island. I am not sure if you can do this all in one day (if you do, it will be a really long day), why not spend one night in Brač?

There are some catamarans that go to Bol, but I am not sure of the schedule would allow for a day trip. See the schedules on the Jadrolinija or Krilo websites. There will be excursions from Split and probably Hvar. In August, it is probably going to be mobbed, so consider whether you would rather plop on some other spot.

There are small local boats that head there for the day from Vrboska on Hvar. It’s hideously busy with loud party boats from Makarska dropping several hundred people each at the beach.
