Day trip to Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls?

We are thinking of doing a private day trip from Dubrovnik to Mostar, Bosnia Herzegovina. A couple questions:

  • Is this worth a full day including 5-6 of transportation?

  • Given our available days, is Sunday or Monday a better choice given closures, etc?

  • Has anyone used "Get Your Guide" for such a day trip? Are there better resources to secure a guide?
