Does anyone have any recommendations for tour operators for a day trip to Montenegro? We are 2 adults and would consider both a van tour or private tour. I hear Kotor is fantastic so want to ensure we see that

We toured with Petar Vlasic who ensured that our day was fabulous. He offers a variety of options, which IMO are an excellent value.

I love Montenegro a lot more than Croatia and ive been to both 3 or 4 times, but I'm not a big fan of day trips. Its 6 hours of driving for 3 hours of sightseeing and 3 of the 6 hours of driving are repeated views. A day at a winery within an hour of Dubrovnik is better day for me. But I generally loose this argument so my advice on the names above, sure, they come well recommended as Croatians who are experts on Montenegro. But if that name above is busy on your date, rather than accept their buddy who isn't reviewed here, first contact a Montenegro tour agency whose job it is to find good guides registered in Montenegro.
Also do consider 1 night, 2 is a lot better and you could do a week in Montenegro; I have several times. But with 1 or 2 nights at the end of your trip its amazing how much more you can experience. Then you head home from the Podgorica airport and no back tracking.

In 2019 we hired a private driver from Dubrovnik Driving Guide to drive us around the Bay of Kotor for the day, making 3 stops along the way. I know that our driver has since changed careers; however, you can contact Julija Antunovic at [email protected]
I first heard about her from Trip Advisor. Julija wasn't available the day we needed her so she recommended her colleague, who was excellent. But as I said, he has since changed careers. I know Julija came highly recommended from TA. We had a private tour, and it as wonderful.

Thank you for posing this question! Our RS tour ends 10/10 and we fly home 10/12. On the 10th or 11th we’d like to visit Montenegro and we’ll check out the drivers mentioned. We’re staying at Sun Garden, wondering if anyone has stayed here?
