Has anyone gone to open cellars day in Buje? Apparently where wineries on the Buje wine road open to visitors and allow tastings of their finest.

I have not gone to this festival, but was there in Sept of last year for another town festival.
Very cute, quaint and bubbly town. Great food, and local hand crafted items and local wines.

Driving distances are very short in Istria, so you will be able to get to several wineries in the region. One I like is Cuj winery/olive oil, it is a great example of what the little producer can achieve. http://www.tasteofcroatia.org/wineries/cuj
