We would like to take a 1/2 day or full day cruise/boat tour of several Elaphite Islands. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience on one of these trips? We would go around the second week of June. Leave from Dubrovnik. We're seniors.

There are several companies offering full-day group tours to three Elaphite islands - Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan. In June, those tours can be packed with 50-100 persons and you have limited time at each island. If I were you I would either book a private tour to the islands or take a public ferry to one of the islands. Private tour is of course the most expensive option but gives you many advantages of exploring the islands. Public ferry option is the cheapest option(around 6 EUR per person for a round trip). You can take a morning ferry around 9 AM and come back to Dubrovnik with the last ferry around 6 PM. If you decide to take the ferry I suggest you visit island of Lopud. Lopud has the most to offer - from the beautiful sandy beach as well as some secluded swimming spots, nice church architecture, restaurants and a charming promenade. How far in advance do you have to book a private boat tour for the islands? I think we will need to 2 boats we are a party of 17.
