Hi everyone, planning a trip during the last week of august with my sister and mom. We don’t have flexibility on the dates so it has to be the last week of august (7-8 day trip). Will Croatia still be very crowded and hot then? Weighing doing a week there vs going to Ireland or Scotland. We are not really looking to go to the beach, more focused on walking around, relaxing and seeing some historic sites. Thanks!

Having been to those locations during August (worked in a school) I would definitely opt for Ireland and Scotland. We were on the Dalmatian coast the end of September 2023 and it was very, very hot.
