I want to fly into Croatia see a couple of the National parks and then head to Venice Italy.

Where do I fly into in Croatia
And then how do I get to Venice when I leave Croatia?
Kind of tight budget

Wikipedia is your friend here.
- Here is a list of all airlines and destinations from LAX (Los Angeles Airport): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_International_Airport#Passenger
- Here is a list of airports in Croatia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_in_Croatia#Airports
- "There are international airports in Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Pula, Rijeka (on the island of Krk), Osijek, Bol and Mali Lošinj."
- If you follow the links to each of those airports NONE of them have flights from Los Angeles.
Conclusion: No direct flights, you will have to change planes somewhere.
Just choose you favourite flight-finder website, and look up LAX to each of those airports in turn, starting with Zagreb.

Perhaps you should considering flying in and out of Venice and renting a car to drive into Croatia. I've made the drive from Croatia (Rovinj) to Venice and it's not difficult. BTW - you might be able to save a few bucks by staying in Mestre and taking transit onto the island..

We are flying from DFW to Zagreb through Heathrow. Going from Zagreb via rental car to Plitvice NP and ending in Split. You can get a flight out of Split to Rome and fly back to LAX from there.
Many ways to do it.
