You can look for tour guides through ToursByLocals.com. There are guides who do multi day trips. We have used them many times in different countries and have never been disappointed. They are all licensed tour guides in their home country. There are profiles of each guide which also lists where they were born, where they live now, and the languages they speak. The website gives you prices so you can get an idea of what it will cost. Good luck.

Tina does RS Tours. Sacha her husband has his own company and does private tours.
Google "Private Guide Slovenia" if the link above doesn't work. We met her family when we did the Adriatic Trip. I think her father a retired Slovenia National Hockey player also does some tours around The Adriatic area.
