I would like to ask if someone has an itinerary for 7 days in Croatia. I know I want to spend 2 days in Dubrovnik, but I’m not sure what else I should prioritize. I will be renting a car in Zagreb. We will be in Croatia early May and I also wondered what the weather is like during that time. I’m used to long drives, a three hour drive is nothing in Texas, so I’m okay with driving from place to place, but I also don’t want to spend the whole time in the car vs sightseeing and. boat trips to be on the water. Thanks for any suggestions. We do have two days that we could add on if necessary to get all the way over to Dubrovnik.

In Aug/Sep 2017 my wife and I stayed 8 nights in Croatia:
- Dubrovnik (2 nights)
- Split (2 nights)
- Plitvice Park (1 night)
- Rovinj (3 nights)

Can you provide a few more details? How many nights is the trip, as in, do you your seven days count arrival and departure days? Have you already purchased plane tickets?

Thank you all so much for the details and “big picture” suggestions. I just needed to see what was feasible for 7 days in Croatia, plus a possible 2 more, unless we use those in Slovenia. I can now piece together our trip from here. Between all of your suggestions and an updated RS guidebook, I think we will be able to have a wonderful adventure in Croatia!!
