Croatia Itinerary

I have a basic itinerary planned but feel we might be pushing things.

We are flying into Dubrovnick on October 16th staying 2 nights and then driving up the Peljescac Peninsula.
Planning on stopping in Ston and possibly spending the night OR heading to Orebic to take the car ferry to Korcula. Spending one night in Vela-Luka and the taking the car ferry on to Split. Spend one or two nights in Split. Drive on to Zadar and stay one night. Drive to Plitvice National park where we will spend the day and then drive the long 3 hour drive to Pula.

October 16th-17th Dubrovnik
October 18th- Ston
October 19th- Vela-Luka, Korcula
October 20th & 21st- Split
October 22nd- Zadar
October 23rd- Pula

We are flying into Dubrovnik on the 16th and taking a bus from Pula to Venice early on the 24th. Other than that we can change thing around. Any advice would be very appreciated.

If I had eight nights starting in Dubrovnik and ending in Pula, I would definitely do fewer destinations. But I can't begin to tell you what to cut out because you've provided no information about your goals for this trip, your interests, or your travel style.

In that vacuum of information about you, here is a suggested itinerary with a few options:

Dubrovnik: 2-3 nights
(Try to visit Mostar either as a day trip from Dubrovnik or as an overnight)
Trogir or Split: 1-2 nights
Plitvice: 1 night
Rovinj: 2-3 nights (depending on how early your bus departs from Pula)

The usual posse of writers here frown on one night stays. Sometimes it makes sense. For example, you should definitely arrive at Plitvice the night before and stay one night. Arrive at the park at 7 and enjoy - it is spectacular - and be on your way by 3. I would NOT drive from Zadar to Plitvice, attempt to enjoy Plitvice, and then drive on to Pula in one day.

At the very least, I would add the Korcula night to the north. You could also just stop over in Ston and add that night to the north as well.
