Currently vaccinated Americans are required to have a covid test to return to the USA. Our last part of the trip will be in Zagreb. Does anyone know of where we can get the test done and have results within 24 hours? We are staying near Jelacic Square. Thanks so much.

Rapid tests are eligible for return to US so finding a lab with a quick turnaround time shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t know of any personally but if you google “rapid covid testing Zagreb” I’m sure many results will come up. Your accommodations also might be able to steer you in the right direction, if you’re staying in a hotel, many can arrange the whole thing for you.

Total Croatia News site lists a lab in Zagreb on their Travel page. Mirogoj area. Also there is news of testing at Zagreb airport. if you are able to time it right. PCR tests are the gold standard in Europe, not the rapid tests. Get what you need, as the Stones said.

Thanks. We are hoping to go to Trieste after Zagreb since we fly out of Venice (I am also Italian) but currentlywe will need the test to enter Italy since our vaccines were done in the USA. Trying to figure out the logistics. Thanks again
