Has anyone taken the Cheap Dubrovnik day tour to Montenegro/Kotor? What was your experience and likes/dislikes? Would you recommend this tour or perhaps a tour by another provider? If another provider, I would have the same questions.

I have never heard of the Cheap Dubrovnik day tour but can recommend Montenegro M Tours to Montenegro/Kotor. Mladen is an excellent guide. You can choose among tours or he will let you design your own. http://mtours.me

I took Viator a few years ago - I believe the price was about $70 or so for an all-day tour. The only downside was that it felt very whirlwind - some of the stops were less than 30 minutes because so much was packed in. In retrospect, I think renting a car would have been a bit better although I'd be a little spooked driving a manual up an incredibly snaky road uphill - for that alone, it was worth taking the tour. At the end of the day, I felt like I did get a good (albeit rushed) overview of Montanegro. Viator is a middleman and they contract with local companies - I picked them because they had an online presence and the reviews were favorable.
