Looking to charter a boat for the day from either Korcula or Hvar? Any suggestions on which island makes the most sense? Looking to visit other islands, swim, etc.....
Also, another potential thought is do I charter a boat and have it start in Korcula and end in Hvar or start in Hvar and end in Split while making it a day trip and also visiting other islands, etc...
curious if you have checked the ferry line schedules as they offer ample opportunities to scoot from island to island.
Like a one way car rental, you will pay a premium for one way, basically you will be charged for the return trip, where the boat is based. There are likely a number of charter companies offering day packages, including maybe Vis and Korcula.
We chose the "do it yourself" route in Hvar, rented a small motorboat for the day and swam and snorkeled around the islands just off Hvar. What we had was pretty small, but there were larger boats (but that was 10 years ago or so).
