Catamaran Help - Split to Hvar and Hvar to Dubrovnik

Hello,

I need to take 2 catamarans in September. In both cases, I like the Krilo timetable (I looked at TP Line and Jadrolinija as well). Before I purchase tickets, I want to make sure I fully understand where these leave/arrive so that I book the proper catamaran near where I'm coming from/going to.

Trip 1: Sept 15: Split ferry port (I'm dropping off a retal car at the ferry port) to Hvar town (I have an apartment reserved in Hvar town).
Krilo indicates the route as SPLIT - HVAR (Main pier). Is that what i want? I'm going to likely book the 6pm catamaran.

Trip 2: Sept 18: Hvar town (same apartment that I'm coming from) to Dubrovnik (I have an apartment inside the old town).
Krilo indicates the route as HVAR (Main pier) - DUBROVNIK. Is that what I want? Thee's only a 9:10am departure that day, which is perfect.

Once I get to the Dubrovnik pier, I need to take a taxi or an uber which should be about a 15 minute ride and should cost about 20 euro? The apartment owner suggested we get dropped off at Pile Gate and we can walk from there.

Am I understanding this all correctly?

All ferries and catamarans depart from Split at Split’s ferry port just outside Diocletian’s Palace. Split’s ferry port is very busy with many boats docked at the same time— so give yourself about 15 minutes to find your boat before the 30-minute deadline to board the boat prior to departure. For Hvar Town, the Krilo and TP Line catamarans are small enough that they can dock directly at Hvar Town’s main pier.
So, yes, Hvar Town’s “main pier” is what you want. You’ll be able to walk to the old town square from the main pier in about five minutes.

Dubrovnik’s ferry & catamaran port is all at Gruz Port— about two miles from Old Dubrovnik’s Pile Gate. All boats go to this port and getting a ride to the Old Town— either taxi, uber or bus—is necessay for both catamaran and ferry passengers arriving in Dubrovnik.

Perfect, thank you for answering all my questions.

I absolutely need to get tickets at the times I'm looking for so I can't risk a boat getting sold out, but I presume as long as I buy tickets a couple weeks in advance, there's no chance that will be an issue?

Of course, I’m no Nostradamus but when traveling in Croatia during September, buying Krilo catamaran tickets the day prior to the boat’s departure worked out fine. On Hvar the ticket agency is right on the main pier.
You can also buy them online in advance on the Krilo catamaran website: www.krilo.hr. For the Split to Hvar Krilo catamaran, you might want to do this rather than use precious time with luggage in tow buying them on the morning of your departure.
You could buy the Hvar to Dubrovnik ticket when you arrive in Hvar.

We always buy our tickets ahead of time to avoid the line at the ticket booth. Also, it’s one more thing off my list.
Also, we like to get on early because some of the Krilo’s have a few tables we like to sit at and they have luggage racks nearby the tables.
