Car Service

We are considering using the car service DayTrip to drive four of us from Lake Bled, Slovenia to Zagreb Croatia. Has anyone used this car service? Also, is there a better way to get to Zagreb?
Thanks!

We have used it several times, and have always had excellent service. I believe that the earlier you book it, the better the price. Their cancellation policy is very generous. Highly recommend!

There is both bus and train service between Ljubljana and Zagreb. Bled is an easy bus (or taxi) ride from Ljubljana. At the time of my 2015 trip to that area, there was always a van-size taxi hanging out at the Bled bus station shortly before a bus was due to depart for Ljubljana. The driver was selling seats in the van for 7 euros (10 years ago, mind you, but that was very reasonable even then); for some reason, I never saw anyone doing the same thing in the opposite direction. There's nothing wrong with the bus between Bled and Ljubljana; the taxi would just be a bit faster.

In Ljubljana the bus and train stations are very close together. In Zagreb they look like they're close together on a map, but there's something of a walk since you cannot cross the train tracks. Thus in Zagreb the train station is a shorter (but not short) walk from the center of town. I'm pretty sure there are more bus departures than train departures; the Zagreb bus station was a very busy place in 2015, whereas the train station felt (but wasn't) disused.

I'm not sure about the location of the train station for Bled since I used the bus. I believe it's not right in Bled. However, I've seen references on this forum to the Lesce-Bled station. That may be as close as trains get to Bled.
