Renting a car in downtown Split and returning to downtown Zagreg. Booked with SIXT and called my insurance company who told me their coverage doesn’t apply in Croatia. SIXT has separate collision I can buy but no liability. So we found a company called Sunny Cars that offers an inclusive insurance policy with their vehicles and price is about the same. But who is Sunny Cars? Anyone have any insights?

No idea who Sunny Cars is, but if you want a reputable company that brokers car rentals with the big agencies ( Hertz, Avis. Sixt, Budget etc.) and discounts their prices, try www.AutoEurope.com The insurance coverages are clearly explained and there’s a toll-free customer service phone number you can call if you have any questions.

We’ve rented in Croatia through autoeurope and sixt. We get the total coverage, very affordable.
