Has anyone had experience with Carwiz or Avantcar or Oryx in Croatia? I've seen some good prices but I've never heard of any of these companies. They are offered through auto Europe so I guess that might mean something. I rented from auto Europe many, many times and I've always felt very secure. But then, again, it's almost always been Europe car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We rented a car from Oryx through AutoEurope. We picked up our car the day we left Dubrovnik. You won't want a car in Dubrovnik. We dropped off our car in Zagreb. We didn't have any problems at all with Oryx. I remember from planning our trip that Oryx is quite popular in Croatia.
When we were in Ljubljana, we rented a car for a day from Avantcar. No problems at all.

Likewise, we also rented a car from Oryx through AutoEurope. We picked it up in Rovinj and returned it in Splt. No issues.

We used CarWiz in Croatia, no problems. We have also rented from Sixt, again no problems. We will rent again this August and will Look at both companies.

Thanks, everyone! I feel now that I can move forward the next time auto Europe offers us a car for less than our current auto your parental (from Hertz).
