Buza Beach Bar / Sunset in Dubrovnik

Has anyone been here lately? What’s it like it to get a table? Is it really busy? It looks so gorgeous to watch a sunset from here. Thanks in advance.

They don’t exactly face the sunset, but Buza II(?) the lower bar, is about the most primo spot on the planet. Absolutely loved it. Somehow less crowded than I imagined, idk if it’s just harder to find or if it’s the cocktail vibe. Also a great spot for a daytime swim. Was probably luck, but was able to get a table each time.

The upper bar was less enjoyable imo. Younger beer drinking vibes, tight space with limited seating, and lots of steps.

Best sunset views are from Mt. Srd atop the old fort. Worth the little extra effort. Dinner at Panorama restaurant is worth the splurge (I didn’t feel like it was much of a splurge comparatively) and fabulous views from there too.

Is Buza II? Just below the main bar or a different place?

They are two separate places. The lower bar, the one I recommend, I see referred to as Mala Buza.

Buza II is great and you shouldn’t have to wait long for a seat. My sunset viewing hack is to do the zip line adventure at the top of Srd. Very beginner, amazing guides who also give some history. Bonus: they pick you up outside Old Town walls and take you up to Srd, so you don’t have to worry about getting up there in your own. Best part is when you’re done, they drive the group to a private sunset viewing spot, hand you a canned wine and you relax and enjoy nature’s show. We had dinner reservations at Panorama and one of the guides even drove us over after, door to door.
