We will in Dubrovnik in September and are planning to take the bus from Dubrovnik to Mostar. When I go online I can't seem to buy tickets (one-way). Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the tickets online or if I need to buy them in person in Dubrovnik. If I can buy them online can someone suggest the website as I tried the Main Bus Station website. Thank you.

I would wait until you're on the ground. The Balkans are much more laid back, no major need for advanced planning when it comes to buses.

I agree. We did the same route last September. When you arrive in Mostar, buy your ticket to Dubrovnik. This worked out great for us. As I recall, we took a taxi to the bus station in the morning, but of course this depends on where you are sleeping.

I agree that you should buy your departure bus tickets upon arrival in Mostar as buses can sell out. Also note that there's a small charge for luggage placed under the bus - pay the driver.
