My husband and I will be traveling to Croatia next fall. We expect to arrive at Pula airport at the unfortunate hour of 11 PM. I expect that the car rentals will be closed at that late hour so we will need to spend the night in Pula. To avoid trying to find and pay for parking for 3 nights in Rovinj we were thinking we would take a bus to Rovinj and then return to Pula airport to pick up a car. Does this sound in any way like a good plan? We would try to spend the night in Pula at pula apartments near the arena ( https://pula-apartments.com/apartmani/studio-apartment). Any thoughts on the scenario?

It is a practical plan. Staying at Pula Apartments near the Arena is a convenient choice. Buses from Pula to Rovinj are also available. Make sure to have a prior reservation for your rental car, and consider parking options in Rovinj.

Thanks, Maja. Very encouraging to hear. I have no problems figuring out France but Croatia has stumped me for a while! I'm now starting to feel like I have some comprehension of how to visit Croatia!
