On our travels through Croatia this fall we are planning on spending an overnight stay in Plitvice to visit the park. We will be traveling from Zagreb by bus on the September 30th and spending that afternoon in the park. That evening we are staying at a local B&B and going to the park the next morning, October 1. That afternoon we plan on taking a bus to Split.
The Zagreb to Plitvice bus ride sounds easy but there is less info about the ride from Plitvice to Split. I have looked at bus info on the Rome2Rio site but I’m hoping to hear from someone who has experience. I have also searched this forum and not found a mention of this.
Has anyone done this before?
Is it easy to find the bus stop for the ride to Split?
What bus line makes the trip?

Flixbus has two buses in the afternoon direct from Plitvice to Split at 15:15 and 16:20. Just book on their site, but it will be a local operator and they may not have a Flixbus branded bus. Both buses goes via Zadar.
There is a bus stop at both entrances, they are little huts by the side of the road not too far from the pedestrian bridges for both Entrances 1 and 2. Entrance 1 is near ticketing office and Entrance 2 stop is by Poljana restaurant. I am not sure if the Flixbus will stop at both stops or not though. I believe they do. But I have not taken a bus to Plitvice.
