We are staying just inside Buza gate in Old Town. Can we get a bus to Split near there or do we have to go into the bus station.
When do we purchase tickets? We are travelling on the 12th Sept 2018 and want to leave arounf 8am. I believe the bus service is very good.

We used this for that Bus Split->Zagreb last fall. no issues, we bought them a few months out, printed the tix. However, these all leave from the bus station, no local stops. The station is just past the cruise terminal, about 3 miles north of the gate. The bus to there stops in the square outside the Pile Gate; only southbound buses stop by the Buza Gate.
