Blue Cave from Split

I've read about various tours from Split to the Blue Cave (and other island stops.) Does anyone have a specific company that they had a good experience with? I notice that a lot of the tours have 5-6 stops-it seems like two or three would be sufficient.
Thanks.

No, I think it's on Bisevo Island near Vis. I haven't read of the one in Montenegro. We're renting a car for a day trip there from Dubrovnik. I'll look into that.Thanks.

Do you have enough time in your trip to spend a couple of nights on Vis? It’s a great little island. You can easily take a boat trip from there to the blue cave — and it’s well worth the trip.

In retrospect I wish we had planned it that way. We’re locked in to our itinerary now, so the best we can do is a day trip. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

We visited the Blue Cave in May from Vis ... it was a neat experience but not worth a day trip from Split. Heck we were only actually in the cave for like a blink of an eye...maybe 10 minutes it seems the ride out was longer and if you have to wait "in line" I don't think it's worth it.

Just to give another perspective, our Blue Cave visit was from a Windstar cruise ship, so the ride wasn't that long. It was very nice. But a big advantage of doing this visit was that we could avoid spending EVEN MORE transit and waiting time for the Blue Grotto on either of the two days we visited Capri (on two future trips.) There are plenty of better ways to spend your time independently on Capri.
