Based on a suggestion from someone I this group, we booked a private tour with Duje at Bonaca Tours in May for our vacation the beginning of October. Every day there were excuses why we could not go out even though the weather was stunning. We were told we would receive our refund and two months later we are still waiting. Did some research and found that over 20 other families were completely scammed out of their money. I am going to see if we have recourse through American Express as that is who we made the charge through. Shame on us for trusting this company to do the right thing.
Dispute the charge on your credit card as soon as you receive the statement showing the charge.
I have issued a dispute with American Express which we used for the charge. They first told us to try to resolve with the merchant. I did more research and found that over 20 families have not received their refunds. If I had checked closer to our travel date, I would have known. He had all great 5 star reviews when I booked in May.
