Best wrecks to dive in Istria

Hello all!

A there any scuba divers, who had a chance to dive in Istria (in Pula or somewhere nearby)? I plan to come to Croatia this Summer and want to dive few of its best wrecks available at recreational depths. I heard that Baron Gautsch is considered to be one of the best. But I am surfing the web for clarifying for myself other 2-3 must see wrecks in Istria. I will stay for 7 nights only, so it is important for me to dive really good wrecks in a short term.

Thank you!

Hi,
I've been diving in Istria in June, 2007. Diving is great there. June is good for divers in Adriatic. Visibility is mostly ok, not too much crowded, not too much cars, weather is already good. Water is a little bit cold, so take dry suite or 7 mm. I dived on Baron Gautsch, really big and historically interesting wreck, good for recreational scuba diving, easy penetration on upper decks, and not easy in hull. i don’t remember fish, but you may meet big eel, really very big one! I have not been to any other wreck there but you can look here https://divebooker.com/istria-aaz6729, and find others. As for me, Guiseppe Dezza and Varese look pretty good and not too deep:)
