We are planning to visit Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar and Korcula next Fall. We would like to do at least one leisurely kayak trip for a full or half day. From what I am reading, it looks like Dubrovnik and Hvar offer nice kayaking trips. If you have been kayaking in any of these locations, I’d appreciate the feedback to help plan our time. We aren’t looking for a multi day or overnight trip, just nice day on the water with some paddling.

I think I'd choose based on what else you have going on, weather, etc. I have seen them in Dubrovnik, where it might be a nice way to beat the crowds--it's a great view of the town from the water.
If you have time, no reason to not do it multiple times. I am sure it would be nice on the islands as well, so it would just depend on where it fits in best.
There were kayaks at a beach in Korcula when we were there, but it was mid October and they didn't seem to be renting them.
Some years ago we took a kayaking excursion with a tour provider. I've forgotten the name, but they picked us up just outside the city walls and drove us to a more remote cove where we kayaked for a couple of hours. It was quite nice. If you google, you can probably find tour providers with various options. That's how we found it.
I'm debating the same thing for our Sept trip. I think will either do the Korcula sunset kayak which is from 3-6 where you stop at a couple coves and an island for a glass of Grk and snacks (Sprit of Korkyra) or the Dubrovnik kayak in the morning (there's a bunch of companies but top one listed is Dubrovnik walks) which you see Dubrovnik and the walls from the water. Both seem cool. Curious when are you going?
We are going in September as well. Weather permitting, we will try for Dubrovnik for kayaking and see how we feel about another trip on Korcula.
ATLGirl, after booking discovered that last year was the first year ever that end of Sept wasn't lovely weather. Really hoping we get the usual great weather. I think with the kayak trips you can wait til last minute to book (but I'm booking boat trip in advance)
