My husband and I will be arriving by car from Plitvice and I wanted to know which area would be better for us to stay in Split area. I was thinking it was better for us to stay just outside of the Old Town or City centre seeing as it might not easy to drive the car while in old Town since we are new to the area. Any recommendations for us ? Would we be able to take a cab/uber/bus into Split Old Town ?

We also arrived by car from Plitvice a few weeks ago. We stayed here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6486282 . I can't recommend this apartment enough. The host is very accommodating and there is on site parking. It is a short 5 minute walk to the palace and the view from your terrace is spectacular!

Thanks Jeanine , we settled on an airbnb in Znjan area some days back. Its a bit further away from the old Town and we would need to uber a ride into and out of the Old Town for sure.
