I am planning to travel from Venice to Croatia. I was looking at the Ancona to Split ferry but that doesn't seem to run in January. Does anyone have any suggestions for travel options?

Traveling around Croatia is a pain in the *** off season.
Go to croatiaferries.com. It says the ferry from Ancona to Split runs on Tuesday and Friday in January @ 19:45 arriving @ 6:45 am.
If you click on buy tickets they only show up to Dec 15. It just may be too early. Check back after a week or two and see if more dates were added.
Jadrolinija runs the ferry. The cost in December is 66€
