Just an FYI Star Wars Episode 8 is filming in the Old City Centre historical area of Dubrovnik. A street(s) has been transformed with set pieces put over doors and walls incorporating the look of Dubrovnik with the look of Star Wars. Doorways have been changed walls changed and even Great Onofrio’s Fountain have been modified with foam based props.
So if you are a Star Wars fan traveling you can see this and maybe even see some of the actors filming. The props are in place and even a landspeeder has been spotted. You can take a look at the site below.
