Airlines that fly Dubrovnik to Rome

Because we are planning our Croatia trip for May, 2015, we are too far out to find out to check pricing for this route. I am putting in September dates to attempt to find airlines that fly this route (nonstop !) and the days of the week that they fly it. But it may be different for May versus September ???

Does anyone know the airlines/days of travel for this route ?

Punch in possible dates for May 2015, in various flight search engines and you'll have your answer.

The best options might be based around the weekend, as well as seasonal. On www.skyscanner.com, I find direct flights on Easy Jet and Vueling for Sunday, August 31, but did not get the same choices on some other test dates.

Exactly ! On September 10, I can fly on Iberia and British Airways for $100 using Expedia.

But a date in May comes up zero !

Which search engines should I try? I tried Momondo, sky scanner, route happy, and hipmunk.

Carla,

I'll be in that area this fall, so I've also researched flight options from Dubrovnik. In addtion to the suggestions mentioned so far, have a look at Croatia Airlines as they operate on that route, albeit with one or two stops in various other airports and sometimes using code share partners.

You could also check EasyJet early next year, as they also operate on that route (although not every day). Their service from Dubrovnik tends to be seasonal, and I'm not sure if it will be operating in May.

Thank you for the information!

It just makes it difficult to PLAN when you are not sure of flight days or seasonality!

We are flying DBV To Rome on the last Sunday in September 2014
For less than 100 USD each
I think we found our flights on momondo.com,
But ultimately booked them direct with Vueling.
I believe the flight time is not much more than an hour.
Departure at 10:45am, you can't get much better than that!

We too had to deal with the 90 day out only published schedule.

Just look at your day of the week as far out as is published,
then trust that a similar schedule and price will be available for your dates.
You can put in pro forma dates to see when flights are not available,
Or when a dramatic increase shows.
If you are certain of your travel date, book as soon as it comes available.

Good luck. Happy travels.

Do the large ferrys that are scheduled for several times a week in October always go? Is there such a thing as cancelled for bad weather in mid / late October?

Are there red buses in Split?

Has anyone ever taken a ferry from Venice to Split or Dubrovnik.
