I have three nights that I want to spend on one of the islands. I was originally thinking Korkula. I am traveling solo. Looking for something beachfront, nice balcony or terrace. Some of the apartments look more interesting to me than the hotels. I plan on reading, swimming, walking, maybe rent a kayak, and just overall hanging out. This will be one of my relax spots in a 3 month trip thru Europe. I small town to visit would be nice, but not necessary.

We loved the island of Korcula! It would be a wonderful place to rest up. I don’t have a recommendation of where to rent a place but do think it’s a great choice!

I use booking.com to search. I currently have an apartment in Korćula Town reserved in August for 5 nights.

I’m taking the RS Adriatic tour but have reserved an extra night to stay on the islands. I booked through Booking.com. Initially I had a waterfront hotel in the town of Korcula - along the waterfront in the fish scale peninsula part of the town. But I switched it two months ago to stay in the town of Hvar.
There wasn’t much inventory left! Both are very popular. Korcula is more laid back than Hvar.

I ended up booking the Old Town Seafront M&M apartments in Korcula. Not really what I was looking for after I did more research, but as it has been said, pickings are pretty slim at this time. I may need to think about renting a car and going to a more remote part of the island

Take the bus or better yet, hire a taxi, they are inexpensive.
