Accomodation in Cavtat

Hi

New to the forum and looking for information on Croatia. We are two couples who are going on holiday together, we usually go on holiday to the Greek Islands so Croatia is completely new to us. We are travelling from the UK and spending one night in Split before we go to Vis for 5 nights then back to Split for 2 nights. We have provisionally booked accommodation at both of these. We are then travelling to Dubrovnik but wanting to stay in Cavtat for 5 nights. We are looking for two apartments side by side with balconies preferably on the sea front, can anyone recommend anywhere for us.

Cavtat and Vis are wonderful choices for your first Croatia visit. Check out Villa Andro in Cavtat. Perfect location, wonderful hosts. It’s been years, but I think he had two bedrooms opening to a shared kitchen, perfect for two couples.

On Vis, be sure to visit the gorgeous little town of Komiza — from there you can catch a boat to Bisevo to see the blue cave. Be sure to do this on a sunny day.

Thank you Charlene for your reply. I have just taken a look a Villa Andro and they do not have availability for the days we will be there. We always have 2 separate apartments with side by side balconies when we go away. I am not sure if I am looking at the accommodation wrong but a lot of the apartments where you share a house with other people which is something I don't think we would like. We have looked at hotel Cavtat but as you will probably know it is expensive.

I'm sorry to hear that, but there are lots of hotels/apartments in Cavtat, so I hope you'll find something that suits you. It's a beautiful place.
