Accommodations walking distance to Lake Plitvice?

Hello!

Does anyone have suggestions/personal experiences with any accommodations within walking distance of Lake Plitvice? I see suggestions of good places to stay, but hope to narrow the choices to ones that are within a 15-20-minute walk to the park (any entrance as we do not have a plan yet of how to attack Lake Plitvice).

I have emailed the following places to check about location, availability and pricing:

House Samardzic

(all the hotels inside the park are booked up)

We stayed right outside the park on 10/3/15 at a Sobe- Marko Spehar- in Rastovaca, 14/1, 53231 Plitvicka Jazeera; 300 KN a nite. We left our car there and walked 5 minutes to the park entrance (saved parking fees). Arrived at park at 7 am (first one's to arrive) and hiked the trails and was out by 12 noon. Tour groups started showing up at 9:30 pm. Cheers!

In September 2014 we stayed three nights at Guesthouse Plitvice House Pox in Jezerce and enjoyed our stay there. It might be more than 20 minutes walking as their info says it is 1.9 miles to the park entrance but some comments on the booking.com site say it is 2km from entrance 2. We paid extra for the breakfast which was well worth it and we ate all dinners there, which were also great. You can check for more info at booking.com.
