4-5 day cruise, charter sail, or day-boats to Dalmatian islands?

Early planning stages for 2019.....previous cruise stops in Kotor, Dubrovnik and Split, now want to do more of a land-based trip, but including more of Dalmatian islands. 7-day charter sails seem too long for this trip, and the only 5-day, 1-way Dubrovnik to Split is with about 40 passengers...too many. So how about day boats (private charter for 2 couples) from Dubrovnik, Split, or other coastal cities? Alternatively, how about going out to Korcula to spend 2-3 nights, and exploring other islands from there on motorized charter? Mijet, Korcula, Hvar, and Brac are the islands that we have in mind. Thanks.

Since only 1 reply so far, I should add that looking into this further, we might decide to ferry into Korcula for a couple of nights, then ferry over to Hvar for a few, and use private day charters from each island to visit the other island destinations in the area. Then ferry back to Split on the mainland and continue our trip with a rental car.
There are some small ship and catamaran charters offered, but the charters I've found are all round trip...the boat returns to the same marina, which makes sense from an owner's standpoint.
There is a 40-guest motor yacht that does 1-way, 5-day Dubrovnik to Split that looks pretty attractive. However, we're planning to travel with a very tall man and there's concern that a smaller yacht might get to be cumbersome.

Still welcoming the benefit of other's experiences!
