3 to 4 day hut to hut hike ideas please!

We are experienced (and quite strong) backpackers and hikers and would like to do a 3 to 4 day hike in either Croatia or Slovenia. And we understand that there is no tent camping so we would love information on hut to hut and how we would make reservations. We plan to be there in mid April. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Thanks very much,

Few mountain huts are open in April in Slovenia, even fewer mid-week, I’m afraid. Most mountain huts suitable for hut to hut hikes are at high altitude and mid-April is simply too early in the season for high-altitude hiking, I’m afraid. Low-lying huts, on the other hand, often do not have sleeping facilities as they are geared towards day hikers. Here’s a list of all huts and bivouacs (bivak) in Slovenia: https://en.pzs.si/koce.php

In mid-April, you could do a hike following the valleys in the Alpine regions (such as the Soca Trail, Alpe Adria Trail or Walk of Peace) and continue to the seaside or hike in the lowlands in the east. You would have to rely mostly on tourist farms, guesthouses and inns for accommodation.

Edit: Whoops, wanted to post this in the Slovenia forum topic.
